The purpose of the competition was to design the Efeler Municipality Service Building, which would be constructed within the Kurtuluş Neighborhood of the Efeler district of Aydn by the Efeler Municipality.

In order for the municipal service building to be functionally useful, vertical circulation areas have been ensured to demonstrate continuity within the building, floor solutions have been designed with usage density in mind, and program elements that will increase usage have been made to interact directly with community life. To optimize the use of the designed building in all seasons, climate-appropriate building materials and elements were utilized, and social and cultural spaces were designed to be protected from the elements.
